GIC of Charlotte Inc.is abbreviated for the title "Growing In care.- As a classroom teacher for high school students with disabilities, Adiaha Strange established GIC Inc, in 1998. By 2001 this bright vision was birthed Into existence with hard work, favor, and good understanding. Through networking and policy Implementation, GIC has met standards with Area Mental Health Authorlty and Medicaid Programs, The Division of Facility services, and Veterans Assistance. Plans to prosper and assist all people with various disabilities be producitve citizens has driven GIC to "Grow in Care" through quality services.
GIC of Charlotte, Inc. is an Independent North carolina owned and operated provider of home and community-based health care services. We are committed to excellence and using highly qualified staff. GlC of Charlotte, Inc. has seen success and steady growth. More great people have joined GIC of Charlotte, Inc. over the years, part-time and full-time. In ten years, the corporation has grown from 2 employees and 3 clients to over 30 field staff, 6 administrative and professional staff and now serving approximately 40 or more clients in Mecklenburg county. GIC also manages over 4 licensed adult residential homes that provide assisted living, 1 adult day care with approximately 15 consumers (18 and over), along With a summer and after school program for school aged chlldren.
